Thanks for booking with Milkface Lactation Services. You will receive an invoice shortly. After paying your invoice, we'll confirm your appointment, The day before your appointment, you will receive some paperwork to fill out.
Please note that all appointments must be paid in advance and intake forms must be filled out before the appointment time.
In Person Appointments:
Appointments happen at our location at 1572 Carling Ave.
We believe that having consults take place in our office allows us to offer you the best care possible. All of our resources and equipment are close at hand. We have an extensive, current breastfeeding and human lactation resource library. Our scales are regularly calibrated and always accurate. We are a one stop resource with sales and rental of equipment such as pumps, scales, nipple shields, bras, galactogogue herbs, etc. Consults take place in a cozy private office.
We are following all Covid-19 safety protocols and will wear a mask for the duration of the consult. We wash our hands before and as needed throughout. We have gloves at hand if any touching is needed and are able to space our chairs to keep physically distant for the majority of the consult. We ask that you wear a mask, sanitize your hands on entry and reschedule if you're unwell (no fee for this and we're happy to change the consult to an online one last minute).
Parking is available in a parking lot right in front of our building.
A support person in attendance welcome and encouraged and we ask that they be someone from within your social bubble. Two sets of ears is better than one sometimes! Written care plans are provided.
If your baby needs supplementation with pumped milk or formula please bring some to the consultation.
Bring any breastfeeding aids you my be using or have questions about (i.e. Pump flanges for sizing, nipple shields, pillows, etc...)
Virtual appointments happen in our secure health care portal. You will receive a link to the portal with your paperwork the day before your appointment.
We will call you at the number you've provided for your phone appointment.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule or would prefer to move your appointment online, that change can be made at anytime with no penalty. If you need to cancel your appointment, appointments cancelled with more than 2 business days notice will receive a refund, within 2 business days, you'll receive a store credit.
