Appointments happen at our location at 1572 Carling Ave.
We believe that having consults take place in our office allows us to offer you the best care possible. All of our resources and equipment are close at hand. We have an extensive, current breastfeeding and human lactation resource library. Our scales are regularly calibrated and always accurate. We are a one stop resource with sales and rental of equipment such as pumps, scales, nipple shields, bras, galactogogue herbs, etc. Consults take place in a cozy private office.
We are following all Covid-19 safety protocols and will wear a mask for the duration of the consult. We wash our hands before and as needed throughout. We have gloves at hand if examing baby is needed and are able to space our chairs to keep physically distant for the majority of the consult. We ask that you wear a mask, sanitize your hands on entry and reschedule if you're unwell (no fee for this and we're happy to change the consult to an online one last minute).
Parking is available in a parking lot right in front of our building.
A support person in attendance welcome and encouraged and we ask that they be someone from within your social bubble. Two sets of ears is better than one sometimes! Written care plans are provided.
If your baby needs supplementation with pumped milk or formula please bring some to the consultation.
Bring any breastfeeding aids you my be using or have questions about (i.e. Pump flanges for sizing, nipple shields, pillows, etc...)
Cancellation Policy: We understand that things change - especially with a baby! If you need to reschedule or would prefer to move your appointment online, that change can be made at anytime with no penalty.
If you need to cancel your appointment, appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours notice will receive a refund, within 24 hours, will be charged for the appointment. Cancellation of a previously rescheduled appointment at any time will be charged for the appointment.
